How to use it

  1. 1In the Claude desktop app, turn on Claude in Chrome and web search, and set the permission mode to Automatically approve.
  2. 2In Chrome, log in to Muse, Meta's AI. Claude asks it what's working on Instagram.
  3. 3Copy the prompt below and fill in your niche, your audience, what to leave out, and 3 to 5 creators you watch.
  4. 4Paste it into Claude. When the report is done, save your filled-in prompt and run it again next week.

The prompt

You're my weekly content researcher for [MY NICHE].
My audience is [WHO THEY ARE + WHAT THEY'RE TRYING TO DO].
Leave out: [TOPICS THAT SOUND CLOSE BUT AREN'T MY NICHE].
Creators I watch: [3 TO 5 HANDLES].

Every week, find what's worth posting about in my niche, from the news and from Instagram.

RULES

Window: the last 7 days. Check today's date first, don't assume it.

News: use your web search. Verify every date from the article itself, not a search snippet or a roundup headline. If you can't confirm a date, drop the story and tell me.

Instagram: open Muse, Meta's AI, in my Chrome browser and ask it for 15 English-language Instagram posts in my niche from the last 7 days, starting with the creators I watch. For each post, ask for the link, the likes, and the creator's usual likes. A post is a winner if it got at least 2 times its creator's usual likes. Also ask what people are asking in the comments. Open 3 of the links yourself to check them.

Be ruthless. Keep something only if it changes what my audience does, costs them money, or is something I could take a real stance on. Two strong items beat six padded ones. If it was a quiet week, say so.

BUILD IT AS A DASHBOARD

Make it an artifact here in this chat. Flat and clean, no gradients or shadows, readable in dark mode, sentence case, no emoji.

Sections: lead with this, news, what's winning on Instagram, what people are asking, three post ideas, and what you couldn't confirm.

The angle is a stance I could post, not a description of the topic. Link on every item.

Doing this for every post is a lot. Marshmallow does it automatically for your posts and your competitors'.
